How to Set Up Your Sennheiser OTC Hearing Aids At Home
A step-by-step guide to self-fitting your hearing devices.
Did you know that you can set up your All-Day Clear hearing aids yourself?
While prescription devices must be adjusted to meet your needs in clinic, these OTC solutions offer easy self-fitting. This allows you to fast-track your journey at home, without needing professional help
So, if that sounds like a benefit you’d enjoy, keep reading. This is your essential guide to setting up and self-fitting your Sennheiser OTC hearing aids.

What is self-fitting?
Self-fitting describes the process of adjusting your hearing aids to fit your level of hearing loss.
This means that, instead of working with a hearing care professional for this step of your hearing care journey, you can adjust settings like volume and clarity using the All-Day Clear App.
Also, with Sennheiser hearing aids, you have 7 volume levels and 6 sound clarity options to choose from. This means that All-Day Clear offers a total of 42 different sound profiles to meet your unique needs.

The self-fitting process for All-Day Clear tech has been proven just as effective as professional fittings and it only takes 5 minutes.
How to fit All-Day Clear
Once you’ve received your All-Day Clear hearing aids, you’re ready to start self-fitting. You can find a step-by-step guide below.
Preparing for Connection
1. Make sure you have your charging case, hearing aids, and cellphone on hand.
2. Navigate to the settings menu in your phone to ensure that Bluetooth is turned on.
Setting Up The App
3. Visit Google Play (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS) to download the All-Day Clear App.
4. When you open the app, read and accept the FDA disclaimer (titled Warnings and Information) that appears on your screen.
5. Create a Sennheiser account if you don’t already have one and ensure that you’re logged in.
6. Next, select which style of device you are setting up — All Day Clear or All Day Clear Slim.
7. You will be asked if you purchased an In-Clinic Care Package. Since you are doing a self-fitting, you can select no.
Pairing Your Devices
8. First, plug your charging case in.
9. Next, you will place your hearing aids inside their charging case and remove them. This step activates the pairing process.
10. Navigate to the Bluetooth section under settings in your phone and select your All-Day Clear product from the list of devices that appears.
11. Return to the All-Day Clear App and when prompted, tap “Pair.”
12. You will see two blue check marks and a message confirming your phone and hearing aids are connected.
Putting Your Hearing Aids On
13. Ideally, you should stand in front of a mirror to put your hearing aids on.
14. Ensure your eartips are the right size. Your hearing aids come with medium tips attached but large and small options are also included for your comfort. Your goal is to choose the size that feels snug and secure but not uncomfortable.
15. Once you've found the right option for your ears, place your ear tips gently into your ear canal and position your hearing aid behind your ear.
Programming Your Hearing Aids To Your Level Of Hearing Loss
16. Next, the app will play sounds and ask you a series of questions to help you find your ideal settings. The questions will address volume, clarity, and balance.
17. Based on your answers, the app will determine and apply the best settings for your hearing tech.
18. If you need to adjust your settings, you can revisit the app at any time.
19. You will have an option to opt into notifications. This feature is designed to help you make the most of your purchase and is strongly recommended.
20. Once that step is complete, you’ve finished the self-fitting process.

Working with an expert
If you’d prefer to set up your devices with the help of a hearing care professional, don’t worry.
All-Day Clear hearing aids are also compatible with professional programming software and you can purchase an In-Clinic Care Package to get an expert’s support at an incremental cost.
