Based on the trusted HD 500 series chassis, the HD 505 is lightweight, durable, and more

The brilliant performance shares a great deal with the legendary HD 560S, but of course we didn’t leave well enough alone: Fine-tuned damping now ensures even smoother, fatigue-free treble and balanced bass. The lux design with copper accents, a revised synthetic leather headband, and luxurious velour ear cushions makes these cans look and feel as good as they sound. Accessories from the HD 500 series, like cables, are compatible.
