Both styles are comfortable to wear all day and have identical features. The difference it the form factor.
All-Day Clear is a modern-looking receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid. RIC hearing aids are basically invisible from the front and you can only see the part of the hearing aid that sits behind the ear. Receiver-in-canal means that there is a little wire that goes inside your ear.
Some people prefer the feeling of an earbud, like a music earphone. That’s why we have a second style: All-Day Clear Slim. All-Day Clear Slim has an earbud-like receiver that sits outside the ear. It comes with a forming wire that adjusts to virtually fit any ear but the wire is slightly thicker and more visible than our other style. What is slim about it is the body of the hearing aid that goes behind your ear. It fits nicely with glasses.
The location of the microphones on the hearing aids also differs for both styles. For All-Day Clear, the microphones are on the body of the hearing aid, behind the ear. For All-Day Clear Slim, the microphones are located on the earpiece. This is optimal for directionality. It also avoids noises caused by hair or glasses rubbing against the body of the hearing aid.
The All-Day Clear and All-Day Clear Slim hearing aids are only sold in pairs, designed for binaural hearing loss.
Your left hearing aid is marked with an “L” and your right hearing aid is marked with an “R”. There are also “L” and “R” markings on the charging case.
The right size eartip should have a snug fit in your ear and feel secure and comfortable.
For All-Day Clear Slim eartips, if you’re not sure which size you have, you can find a “S”, “M” or “L” embossed on the inside of the eartip wall.
There are two ways you can control your volume, either with the push button on your hearing aids or with the sound control in the All-Day Clear App. Through the sound control in the app you control the volume on each hearing aid separately by selecting the split button. Refer to your All-Day Clear or All-Day Clear Slim Instruction Manual or the how-to videos for more details.
Check if your hearing aid needs to be charged. Place your hearing aid firmly in the powered charging case and wait for the indicator light to start flashing. Once the indicator light turns solid green, your hearing aid is fully charged. If your hearing aid won’t charge, contact the customer support team at 1-866-435-5646 or SHSUS@sennheiser-hearing.com
There may be a number of reasons why your hearing aids may not be working. To help resolve the issue, refer to the various Troubleshooting Guides on the Support web page. If you continue to have an issue, contact our customer support team at 1-866-435-5646 or SHSUS@sennheiser-hearing.com
This is feedback and can occur while putting your hearing aids on your ears or if something is too close to your ear. Try to seal your eartip better in your ear or move the object away from your ear. If feedback persists, contact the customer support team at 1-866-435-5646 or SHSUS@sennheiser-hearing.com

All-Day Clear App
The All-Day-Clear App requires a Bluetooth® enabled smartphone running at least iOS 14 or Android 8.0.
The first time you pair your hearing aids to the All-Day Clear App, you will be guided to create your Sound Profile which will customize your hearing aids to your hearing loss. Make sure you are in a quiet area. A soundtrack will be played through your hearing aids, and you will be presented with 7 volume options. Select the volume that sounds the most comfortable to you. Next, you will be presented with 6 options for clarity. Take at least 10 sec to listen carefully to each option and select the option that sounds the clearest to you. Lastly, you will be asked if you are happy with the balance. A thumbs-up will maintain equal volume in both ears. A thumbs-down will lead you to adjust the volume independently for each ear. This self-fitting process has been proven just as effective as professional fittings and it only takes 5 minutes. As your hearing evolves, feel free to re-do your Sound Profile.

Care and cleaning
Gently wipe down your hearing aids and eartips with the supplied cleaning brush and/or a soft, lint-free cloth at the end of each day. It is strongly recommended to clean your hearing aids at the end of each day of use, before placing them in your charging case. You should replace your eartips every 3-6 months, or when they become stiff, brittle, or discolored. Refer to your All-Day Clear or All-Day Clear Slim Instruction Manual or the how-to videos for more details.
To remove your eartips, securely grip the earpiece/receiver, pinch the eartip, and gently peel it back off the unit. Next, take a new eartip, insert the end of the earpiece/receiver into the opening of the eartip, and push in, feeling a slight klick.
Practicing ear hygiene is important to maintain your devices. You can use your cleaning brush, or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently remove ear wax and other debris from your hearing aids at the end of each day. The recommended frequency of changing the wax guard can vary. It depends on the user and how much wax is produced in the ear. For best results, it is recommended to change your wax guard every 3 - 4 months.
Charging
The hearing aids come with a 30% charge, which should last approximately 3 hours depending on your usage.
Insert your hearing aids into the charging slots of the powered charging case. Make sure the (L) and (R) hearing aid markings match the “L” and “R” indicators in the charging slots. The indicator light on the hearing aids will slowly blink until fully charged (solid green).
It is recommended to fully charge your hearing aids in between use. It can take up to 3 hours to fully charge your hearing aids.
Yes, it is recommended to close the lid while your devices are being charged. This will help keep them clean and away from pets and/or children.
All Sennheiser OTC hearing aids are rechargeable with a battery that lasts all day. Sennheiser All-Day Clear uses a button-cell lithium-ion battery and lasts up to 24 hours on a single charge. Sennheiser All-Day Clear Slim uses a pincell lithium-ion battery that lasts up to 21 hours on a single charge.
You can check your battery level in the All-Day Clear App. Open the app,on the sound control screen you will see the battery level for your left and right hearing aids.
You will hear two long beeps when wearing your hearing aids, that will indicate the battery is low. You then have approximately 60 minutes before the hearing aid needs recharging.
The indicator lights on the hearing aids are color-coded to show the state of the batteries. Blinking red indicates < 10%, orange indicates 11-80%, green indicates 81-99% approximate charge.
You should have both hearing aids turned on with a charge, to function optimally.
Either your charging case is not plugged into a power source or the charging contacts on the hearing aids are not positioned properly in the charging case. Remove the hearing aids from the charging case and wiggle them a bit while pushing them back firmly into the charging slots. Watch for the indicator light to confirm that they are charging.
If you remove power from your charging case while your hearing aids are in it, or if you remove your hearing aids from the charging case, your hearing aids will automatically turn on. Make sure to turn them off if you don't plan on wearing them right away.

Hearing Health & Expectations
Sennheiser OTC hearing aids are designed for individuals 18 years of age or older, with mild to moderate hearing loss. Take a few minutes to complete our hearing screener to determine if that corresponds to your
situation.
Yes, it can take some time to get used to how things sound with your new hearing aids as your brain needs to adjust to the new sounds. Wear them as much as possible to get the benefit, and gradually increase the length of time each day to get accustomed to the hearing experience. Refer to the Getting used to your hearing aids support guide for more information.
When you first wear your hearing aids, your voice will seem louder. This is normal. It may take a few days to adjust to hearing your voice through the microphones of your hearing aids.
Yes, at first your ears might feel like they are blocked. This is called the occlusion effect. The eartips of your hearing aids have a small vent that addresses occlusion by allowing natural sound to pass into the ear. It just might take a few days to adjust. Refer to the 'Getting used to your hearing aids' guide for more information.
All-Day Clear and All-Day Clear Slim hearing aids are supported by participating licensed hearing care professionals. Use the provider locator on our website to find a local provider or search in the All-Day Clear App in Settings > Support > Find a hearing professional.
Yes, you will hear sounds and voices around you much more easily. You will find focusing on the conversation you want to hear and ignoring unwanted noises.
Yes, you will notice an improvement in these situations. Practice strategies like positioning yourself facing the person you’re talking to, and keeping the noise behind you.
Sound Optimization
Sounds like you might have good hearing in high frequencies. Use the equalizer to lower the treble. This will lower the amplification for high frequencies and likely remove that sound you are noticing.
Low Frequencies (Bass): This controls the deep, low-pitched sounds. If you have difficulty hearing low-pitched sounds, you can increase the bass. Conversely, if these sounds are too loud or overpowering, you can reduce the bass.
Mid Frequencies (Midrange): This controls the middle range of sounds, which includes most of the frequencies of human speech. Adjusting this band can help to improve the clarity of conversations. If speech sounds muffled or unclear, increasing the midrange can help.
High Frequencies (Treble): This controls the high-pitched sounds. If you have difficulty hearing high-pitched sounds, such as the voices of children or birdsong, you can increase the treble. Conversely, if these sounds are too sharp or piercing, you can reduce the treble.
To use the equalizer, the user would typically start with all bands set to a neutral or middle setting, then adjust each band up or down based on their listening experience. This process may involve a bit of trial and error to find the settings that work best for each individual.
The volume control in the All-Day Clear App and directly on your hearing aids are limited by your Sound Profile selection. To reach a higher volume, you can re-do your sound profile and select a louder volume setting. Alternatively, you can increase the low, mid and bass frequencies evenly in the equalizer.
If you experience feedback or whistling while holding your phone to your ear, tilt the phone away from your ear slightly. This should resolve the issue.
Yes, you can adjust your sound profile. Go to App Settings > My hearing aids > My Sound Profile. You will be prompted to adjust your sound profile which will override your existing sound profile. Don’t worry, it only takes a few minutes.
A Sound Profile customizes your All-Day Clear hearing aids to suit your unique hearing loss. Through the self-fitting process in the All-Day Clear App, you'll listen to a sound track that helps determine how the hearing aids can enhance your hearing. This self-fitting method is clinically proven to be as effective as an initial professional fitting and takes only five minutes to complete. As your hearing changes over time, you can easily update your Sound Profile whenever necessary.
